Not a Fan of the Mess

So we're having new carpet put in. I'm thrilled. We found the receipt for the original carpet that my grandparents put in on 8/2/83. Now almost 26 years later we're putting in brown carpet. However there is a giant downside. Our living room looks like this:

The pragmatic part of me is happy to get rid of old aged carpet I am twitching cause of the mess that surrounds me and I can't wait to restore order back to our house. Even as I type I can only move my chair so much cause our bed frame is currently taking up residence in our spare bedroom.
I just have to remind myself that it will be over soon enough... that is till we remove the carpet in the living room next month...
